Getting started

How do I convert an image to Excel?

Upload a photo, screenshot or scan of a table, let ImgToSheet read the rows and columns, check the editable preview, then download the result as an .xlsx file. It takes a few seconds and works in any modern browser.

Can I still use ImgToSheet for free?

Yes. Without an account you get 5 conversions every 12 hours, single-file uploads, and editable .xlsx downloads.

Do I need an account to convert an image to Excel?

No account is needed for the free conversions. Pro features such as batch upload and merging require signing in and using credits from a credit pack.

How do I sign in?

Enter your email and we send you a sign-in link. There is no password to remember.

Can I convert a photo from my phone?

Yes. Take a clear, well-lit photo of the table and upload it from your phone's browser. Keep the page flat and the text sharp for the best result.

How do I extract a table from an image?

Upload the image. ImgToSheet detects the table structure, places each cell in its own row and column, and lets you fix anything before you download the spreadsheet.

How do I copy a table from a picture without retyping it?

Upload the picture instead of retyping. The text is read automatically and exported to Excel, so you only review and correct instead of typing every cell.

Can Excel read a picture of a table?

Excel has an Insert Data from Picture feature, but it needs a Microsoft 365 subscription and the desktop app. ImgToSheet works in the browser on any device and gives you a standard .xlsx file.
